title:- The Port of RYE at low Water
table:- a : Part of the Haven right against ye Town now dry at low Water was 15 & 16 ft. deep within Memory at that Place.
b : The Haven lyes dry at low Water at this time.
c : The Entrance or Mouth of the Haven. 2 or 3 fam: deep at low Water
d : Shoale Ground again just wth:out it and so to two Miles in Length
b,c,d : May be Cable & half in distance & is all the space yt: ye. small Vessells have to Float in at low Water
d,e : The length of the Shoale wth:out ye Havens Mouth to the Barr and reckoned two Miles.
