Old Hampshire Mapped
file A gazetteer of all place names on the map is in file:-
  • [MKR]GAZ.htm in the maker's directory, eg:- saxton1/SAX1GAZ.htm
gazetteer
a..z		 The gazetteer offers an a..z choice of sections; all sections are in the one page. Choosing a letter moves you to that section; clicking on the image at the head of a letter section gets you back to the a..z choice.

The gazetteer lists old and modern place names, and modern and old place names in a combined alphabetic list. Clicking on the old place name gets you to the grid square containing the place. (NB:- getting back relies on the back button in the grid square display.) Additional data is listed; hundred, civil parish, ngr.

A footer button offers a link to comments on spelling and transcription.
