canal section, Kennet and Avon Canal, KAC45.00=KAC46.00 miles.chains
from Reading;
Woodborough and Alton and Woodborough, Wiltshire.
To the north east of the canal is Woodborough Hill, 205m. There are
strip lynchets on the hillside, remains of a celtic field system or
medieval terracing? It is difficult to spot them from the canal -
perhaps with the sun in another quarter?
