Wessex Narrowboats Wharf (our name)
wharf, Kennet and Avon Canal, KAC63.27 miles.chains from Reading;

Signs on the canal are laden with icons; and every icon has a text explanation because they don't make immediate visual sense. (It's not just canals that have fallen for icons.)
TOILET [no icon, the mind boggles]
CHEMICAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL [bucket]
RUBBISH [dustbin]
MOORING [mooring bollard and rope]
WATER [tap]
WINDING POINT [U turn with arrow]
FUEL [it's meant to be a diesel pump]
PUMP OUT [S bend and lid?]
GAS CYLINDERS AVAILABLE [could be a cylinder?]
SLIPWAY [could be a boat on a trailer]
INFORMATION [letter i]
SHOP [this one had us fooled completely; perhaps an egg thought J, and it is, with a bit of bread and some holey cheese]
