Bywash, with fence.

Quite a number of locks on the Kennet and Avon have hade a bywash
added in the last year or so. This is a radical change to the
hydraulic engineering of the canal, and is presumably needed to cope
with the new pumps moving water from below to above flights of locks.
The design is nice, neat brickwork. The fence? I don't see a fence
round the lock chamber. As one commentator said THEY'll be putting
fences all along the towpath next.
