Bedwyn Wharf
Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire KAC32.72

KandAC mile 32
The wharf 'building' and a boat at Bedwyn Wharf.
Bedwyn Wharf is an untidy litter of portacabins with some boats under repair on the bank. BWB have a wooden shed here. There are moorings to east and west.
The first bargeload of goods arrived here from Hungerford, 2 July 1799; 50 tons of coal and timber, received with great festivity.
In 1845 there were two coal merchants here.
Bedwyn Wharf is less than a pretty sight, its not particularly workmanlike either.
Ongoing work on a barge at the wharf.
Boat Coggin moored at Bedwyn Wharf.
