The bridge is brick built, 37 miles 22 chains from Reading, it carries the marlborough Andover road, A346, over the canal, passing by Burbage 2 miles south.

The bridge has skew brickwork. The lowest course are level. On these there are triangular stone blocks which marry the skew courses above to the bottom courses.
