Dundas Wharf has a small wharf building, an iron crane made by
Acramans, Bristol, etc. It is now a water point, rubbish disposal
point, and so on.

Crane, Dundas Wharf.

Cast iron gear wheels at the crane's base. The wheel train just works
the lift; the crane does not luff.
cast iron teeth are not particularly well shaped for their purpose,
clever design comes later.

A second gear train rotated the crane on its base.

In the marina made out of the Somerset Coal Canal arm are some shops
and a boat hire company, etc.
Road access from the wharf leads to the A36, a short way down which,
southwards, is a pub, The Viaduct Inn.
