winding point
Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire KAC39.12

KandAC mile 39
This winding point is newly built. The high bank on the off side, north side, is supported by wooden piles.
A winding point is where you can turn a long boat around.
The near side of the winding point is also built up with steel piles, and has an outfall of water.
