Park Road Bridge
Devizes, Wiltshire KAC53.54

KandAC mile 53
Park Road Bridge, east face.
Park Road Bridge carries New Park Road off New Park Street, Devizes, across the canal into Quakers Walk. There is no longer any park in a strict sense but New Park seems once to have been a deer park.
The bridge is stone built with repairs in brick; 53 miles 54 chains from Reading.

Ashlar stonework in Bath Stone, a fine oolitic limestone, under the arch.
There was once an iron rubbing strip to take the wear of tow ropes, having gone there is some signs of wear on the stone.
Park gates north of Park Road Bridge.
View towards Devizes from park Road Bridge; you can't get a sight clear of cars (mine's the blue one). St Mary's Church is one of three churches in the town.
