Stowell Park; house, sheep, fine trees.

Stowell Park lies alongside the north of the canal, over the fence
from the towpath; parkland, great trees, sheep grazing, and a fine
mansion visible over the rise of the land. There's a pond in front of
the house, not visible, from which the water runs down to a culvert
under the canal.

The house is said to date from 1813. The garden side, seen from the
canal, has a veranda with six doric columns.
