Like most aqueducts you hardly see anything from the canal; take
notice of the line of stone.
|
|
|
The aqueduct carries the canal over Summerham Brook flowing from the
north towards the Semington Brook on the south, eventually joining the
River Avon.
|
|
|
there is a feeder to the canal off the brook which joins the canal to
the westward; known as the Seend Feeder.
|
|
|
|
The brook comes from the northwards under the old railway embankment.
