Book, with engraved prints and maps, one volume of the Curiosities of Great Britain, or Dugdale's England and Wales, by Thomas Dugdale, about 1835, published 1850s?
The edition was issued in parts from 1854-60; this volume of parts is bound up by Bone and Son, 76 Fleet Street, London.
The volume includes maps of Hampshire, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Lancashire; the map of Hampshire has railways up to 1852, but not those of 1857 onwards; there is also the gazetteer section from Cambridgeshire to Cottenham.
The book belonged to Herbert Druitt, Christchurch, Dorset, 1924.
