Road book, uncoloured engravings of strip map road maps, Kitchin's Post Chaise Companion, by Thomas Kitchin, published by Robert Sayer, 53 Fleet Street, John Bowles, Cornhill, and Carington Bowles, St Paul's Church Yard, London, 1767.
The maps are derived closely from John Senex's, 1719, who derived them from John Ogilby's maps of 1675.
The volume is cloth bound; the maps are two sided; sheets with sections of road in Hampshire are documented separately.
