The Bergquist system is a system of cut outs at the left and right sides of the pages which is planned to facilitate moving from one map sheet to the adjacent sheets NESW. It is not totally successful.
The road book has a two maps of central London, one with garages, underground stations and cinemas, the other with underground stations and theatres; a page of road traffic signs; directions for using the Bergquist system; a table of symbols, key map and the road maps; and town street maps.
Hampshire is covered by pages 11, 12, and 13.
