Map, coloured engraving, Hampshire, with the Isle of Wight, scale about 13 miles to 1 inch, engraved by Slater, Manchester, published by Pigot and Co, Fleet Street, London, and others, 1835-40s.
The map has railways - London and Southampton Railway, Bishopstoke to Gosport branch railway, Fareham to Cosham branch railway, Chichester to Portsmouth Railway, Southampton to Dorchester Railway, and the Berkshire and Hampshire Railway.
The map comes from A Pocket Topography and Gazetteer of England, it is attached to the page with an engraving of Winchester Cathedral, and a distance table for the county. An accompanying page has two sides of descriptive text for Hampshire.
