Maps in the road book are documented individually. The road book includes notes on rules of the road and the Highway Code, getting out of London, list of routes, itineraries with regional maps, index to places, lighting up times, touring suggestions, list of vehicle registration marks, motor law, and a general map.
The routes that involve Hampshire are:-
Route 11 London to Portsmouth: from London on the A3, through Godalming, Surrey; Petersfield, Cosham, to Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Route 12 London to Southampton: from London on the A31 through Guildford and Farnham, Surrey; then Alton, New Alresford, Winchester, then A33 to Southampton, Hampshire.
Route 13 London to Bournemouth: from Winchester on A31 through Romsey, Ringwood, Hampshire; A3548 and A347 to Bournemouth, Dorset.

Route 60 Southampton to Bournemouth and Exeter: from Totton on A35, through Lyndhurst, Hampshire; then Christchurch to Bournemouth, Dorset; then A352 and A35 to Exeter, Devon.
Route 61 Southampton to Birmingham: from Winchester on A34 through Whitchurch, Hampshire; then Newbury, Berkshire; and A423 and A41 to Birmingham, Warwickshire.
