Map, Hampshire? scale about 23 miles to 1 inch, one of a set of playing cards by John Allen, 3 Hampden Street, Sommers Town, London, 1811; published 1811-27.
The map has a border decorated with ?leaves, title at the top. a north point and scale line, and shows county boundary, rivers, settlements and roads.
scale line:-  10 miles = 11 mm (7/16 ins)
dimension:-  scale = 1 to 1400000 ? (1 to 1448229 from scale line assuming a statute mile)

Published on a playing card - 'Pub. by J. Allen, 3 Hampden Str. Sommers Town, 1811.' accompanied by a booklet of rules 'A Geographical Game - Allen's English Atlas - being a set of county maps on cards showing the whole of the turnpike roads, great rivers, navigable canals etc, adapted for the instruction of youth in English geography. Pub. as the act directs June 4th. 1811.'
