Map, Hampshire, scale about 7.5 miles to 1 inch, by Benjamin Baker, Islington, London, 1791-97; amended by Laurie and Whittle, 53 Fleet street, London, 1806; published 1807.
Published in 'Laurie and Whittle's New and Improved English Atlas, Divided into Counties: shewing Their Respective Situations, Boundaries, and Extent ... Together with An Alphabetical List of the most remarkable Antiquities, Monasteries, Castles, Seats, and Parks ... London: Printed and Published by Robert Laurie and James Whittle, No.53, Fleet-Street, 1807.'
With many additions and corrections on the original plate, a compass rose added obliterating Baker's name; the atlas has a map of England and Wales, and of the Isle of Wight, each county map has a page of text; its size is 11 x 8 3/4 ins.
