commentary: Two arches in rede brick patterned with black bricks, with a fancy balustrade. The bridge carries the approach drive to Elvetham Hall; wrought iron gates between pillars at one end, stone boars guarding the other end. The boars probably come from the coat of arms of the calthorpe family who owned the hall.
