commentary: Perhaps the first tall mass concrete structure in England. 215ft high, 18ft square. Built by Judge A A T Petetrsen, retired from the Indian Legal Service, persuade by his experience in a seance when one of his workmen contacted Sir Christopher Wren. Wren gave further design instructions in later seances.
