refce:	Coates 1989 TUCKTON, suburb of Bournemouth, now in Dorset Probably hypothetical Old English 'Tuccantun'='Tucca's farm'. Cf TUFTON. A late form of Tuckton shows the same development 1727 'Tuffen alias Tuckton'. Gave its name to 'Tucktonia' the famous model village.
