Map, uncoloured engraving, One inch map Old Series, sheet 9, Brighton,
including parts of Hampshire, scale 1 inch to 1 mile, published under the
direction of LtCol Mudge, Ordnance Survey, Tower of London, London, 1813.

The map includes Midhurst, Chichester, etc, West Sussex; plus parts of east
Hampshire with the detached part of Hampshire in Sussex. The map is about 'state
5' with the River Adur labelled south of Bramber.

|
The map has red diamond labels on the end sections to show correct folding, the
front label marked with the sheet number '9.'; there is a location map on the
front section, cut fron an index sheet for the series; the edges are bound with
blue ribbon.
