Symbols On the playing card map all places, except Winchester, are shewn by a circle, labelled in italic lowercase text. Winchester has buildings and a tower, and upright lowercase text.

On the sheet map a building with tower is added to the ?more important places; this is often severly cramped by the existing place name. Two towns are added in the sheet map, Havant and Whitchurch were missed out on the playing card map.
